In 2024, multiple ministries jointly issued policies to include natural gas heavy-duty trucks in the scope of subsidies for scrapping and updating old vehicles for the first time, with a maximum subsidy of 40000 yuan per vehicle. FAW Jiefang, with a market share of 30%, has become the main beneficiary of the policy. The J6V 530 horsepower LNG Tractor launched by it is equipped with CA6SM4 engine, which consumes 8% less gas than its competitors. With the "ultra long warranty+exclusive rescue" service, it quickly seized the market. Data shows that in 2024, the sales volume of Liberation Natural Gas heavy-duty trucks reached 57000 units, a year-on-year increase of 11.8%, of which the proportion of 8 × 4 dump trucks increased to 25%.
